Many candidates come to UEF to learn and register for transcript review after knowing their exam scores.

Change strategy, optimize university opportunities

Candidates have time to register and adjust their university admission wishes on the Ministry of Education and Training 's information portal from July 16 to 5:00 p.m. on July 28. This is the time for them to make appropriate decisions after knowing the results of the high school graduation exam.

According to this year's score distribution analysis, many subjects have quite low average scores, especially in the admission combinations with English and Math. The score distribution of Math is mostly concentrated in the range of 3.0 to 5.5 points, the average score is 4.78. The score distribution of English is mostly concentrated in the range of 4.5 to 5.75 points, the average score is 5.38, a slight decrease compared to last year even though the number of candidates registered for the exam is lower. This makes many candidates, despite having good academic performance, still feel worried about the possibility of achieving the standard score for the desired major with their high school graduation exam scores.

In addition, the flexible method of considering transcripts and evaluating long-term learning processes has become a “parallel plan” that many candidates choose to keep their place in university. After knowing the exam results, many candidates have chosen to register their transcripts to open up more opportunities for themselves to enter university.

Having many subject combinations to choose from also helps candidates be more flexible in choosing their academic strengths, especially when subjects such as Math, Literature, and English, which have positive results in their academic records, have not met expectations in the high school graduation exam.

Proactively review transcripts and receive early incentives

When the high school graduation exam scores are affected by many factors and do not meet the candidates' expectations, considering the transcript becomes a strategic "key" to ensure the candidates' chances of being admitted to university. With the initiative in choosing a strong subject combination with a good grade 12 transcript score, you can be more confident in applying to your favorite major.
