Many exciting experiences await visitors at Binh Thuan Tourism Week 2024

This year's Binh Thuan Tourism Week takes place from October 24-27 at Novaworld Phan Thiet Square (Phan Thiet City), associated with activities to celebrate the 29th anniversary of Binh Thuan Tourism Day (October 24, 1995 - October 24, 2024).

In order to create an attractive experience for tourists, the locality has built an organization plan with many new activities. Accordingly, the week will include activities such as a welcoming art program on the evening of October 24; a culinary performance (expected to include a giant hotpot dish) on the evening of October 25; a contest of "Binh Thuan's delicious dishes" on the morning of October 26; and art performances on the evenings of October 25-26, etc.

Along with that, the Week will organize a fair space at Novaworld Phan Thiet Square to display, introduce and promote tourism products, culture, and typical cuisine of the locality and provinces and cities across the country to people and tourists.

The tourism week is organized by Binh Thuan province with the aim of promoting and introducing potentials and advantages to contribute to the rapid and sustainable development of tourism. At the same time, it enhances exchanges and cooperation between regions and localities nationwide. Within the framework of the week, Binh Thuan province also organized a workshop on “Binh Thuan Tourism: Greening the Roadmap to Sustainable Development”.

In the first 9 months of 2024, Binh Thuan tourism welcomed nearly 7.4 million visitors (up 11.42% over the same period last year). Of which, international visitors are estimated at 293 thousand (up 53.01% over the same period last year), accounting for a large proportion of visitors from Korea, China, Russia, Germany, UK, USA, etc. Tourism revenue in 9 months is estimated at 18,630 billion VND (up 8.47% over the same period last year).

To successfully organize the 2024 Tourism Week, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Thuan province has assigned specialized departments and affiliated units to carry out preparation work. At the same time, it requested the Binh Thuan Tourism Association and NovaGroup Joint Stock Company to pay attention and coordinate in implementing related contents and tasks./.
