Thach Da A Primary School (Yen Lang) also announced early in the morning that students would be absent from school: "Due to heavy rain and storms, students will be absent from Life Skills class this morning. The morning class schedule will be moved to the afternoon."
Duong Xa Primary School (Gia Lam) also announced that students would be off school this morning to ensure safety.
Nam Phu Commune People's Committee announced that due to the impact of storm No. 5, there was heavy rain in the area, some roads leading to the school were deeply flooded. Schools are requested to notify parents to let students take a day off today, at the same time, schools arrange staff and teachers to be on duty at the unit to promptly handle any arising situations.

At the university level, Hanoi University of Civil Engineering announced that all classes today, Tuesday (August 26) will be switched to online. The technical system will operate to promptly convert, respectfully notify lecturers and students.
The University of Commerce has decided that from the second class today, Tuesday (August 26), all classes will be switched to online learning on MS Teams. For the first class, in case the lecturer cannot travel to class, the students will be notified to take a leave and a make-up class will be arranged later. For classes that are being taught in person, the lecturer will be flexible and will not take attendance.
Tomorrow, Wednesday (August 27), due to the implementation of the road closure to limit traffic for the Parade Rehearsal Ceremony, all courses will switch to online learning on MS Teams.
Previously, the central provinces proactively changed the school opening schedule due to the impact of storm No. 5.
Thanh Hoa Department of Education and Training issued an urgent dispatch requesting schools and educational institutions in the area to temporarily suspend back-to-school activities and focus on implementing storm response plans. The Department of Education and Training emphasized that only when the weather is truly safe will heads of educational institutions be allowed to organize activities to welcome students back to school from August 26.
In Nghe An , the Department of Education and Training allows schools to take the initiative in adjusting the school opening schedule. However, according to records, most schools have agreed to postpone the school opening date, not organizing it on August 25 as previously planned.
The Quang Tri Department of Education and Training also issued an official dispatch requesting all students in the province to stay home from school from August 25 until the weather stabilizes, in order to minimize risks when storms make landfall and prolonged rain and flooding occur.
In Hue city, the Department of Education and Training decided to adjust the school opening date to August 28, three days later than originally planned. At the same time, schools were asked to closely monitor storm forecasts and proactively deploy response plans according to the "four on-site" principle to ensure absolute safety for students, teachers and facilities. After the storm, schools will organize cleaning of the campus and prepare all conditions to welcome students back.
In Ha Tinh , the Department of Education and Training has asked schools to proactively let students stay home to ensure safety. Accordingly, more than 67,000 students in grades 1, 9 and 12 will be home from school for two days on August 25-26. The return to school will depend on weather developments and further announcements from the industry.
