GD&TĐ - Thanh Ba Town Primary School (Phu Tho) affirms its position by maintaining a national standard school level 2 and achieving quality accreditation level 3.

Speaking with GD&TĐ Newspaper, Ms. Me Thi Bich Lien, Principal of Thanh Ba Town Primary School (Thanh Ba Commune, Phu Tho Province) said: Preparing for the 2025-2026 school year with new expectations, the school has focused on renovating the campus, completing facilities, purchasing equipment and teaching aids, ready to welcome the opening day.

Up to now, 100% of the school's teachers have fully participated in summer training and professional development courses; the school assigns teachers to teach in accordance with their specialized and professional training.

The staff and teachers have completed preparations for the opening ceremony of the new school year with the determination to compete in teaching and learning well. The classrooms are decorated with their own creativity.

In the new school year, the school continues to focus on propaganda work, political and ideological education for students; traditional education through organizing the teaching of political theory lessons, building competition criteria, disseminating school regulations to students, especially first graders.

The activities of “Learning while playing, playing while learning” not only stimulate students’ creative thinking, but are also used as a form of decorating the classroom vividly, thereby creating excitement, exploration and discovery for students… meaningful and useful.

Along with that, local experiential and educational activities will be promoted, linking learning with the reality of the homeland. Education on traffic safety, drowning prevention, school violence, and self-protection skills will continue to be effectively integrated into Youth Union and Young Pioneer activities.

Maintain national standards, improve overall quality

In the 2024-2025 school year, Thanh Ba Town Primary School will implement the 2018 General Education Program for all grades, deploying many creative solutions in teaching, linking theory with practice and experiential activities.

The school focuses on teaching methods to develop students' qualities and abilities, applying advanced models such as "VNEN New School" in grade 5, "Hands kneading dough" method in Science, applying mind maps in Vietnamese and Math; at the same time, actively incorporating STEM education into the annual education plan.

The professional team maintains class observation activities, shares lessons, organizes seminars to improve the quality of Math, Vietnamese, English, information technology and digital citizenship skills education.

Teachers proactively exploit open science resources, apply information technology and artificial intelligence in teaching, and innovate testing and assessment methods according to Circular 27/2020/TT-BGDDT, ensuring comprehensive assessment of students' abilities and qualities.

Leaders of Thanh Ba Town Primary School awarded Nguyen Diep Anh - a student of class 4D who won 1 IOE Gold medal for grade 4 and 1 IOE Silver medal for grade 5.

With 20 classes and 690 students, Thanh Ba Town Primary School maintains 100% attendance and no dropouts. In the 2024-2025 school year, the rate of students completing primary school will reach 100%; 58.2% of students will receive year-end awards.

At intellectual playgrounds, students won 152 prizes from district to national level, including 2 national medals, 64 provincial prizes and 86 district prizes. According to the survey on the quality of 5th grade students organized by the Department of Education and Training, 95.7% of students scored 5 points or higher in Vietnamese, and 92.9% in Math, ranking first in the old Thanh Ba district.

The school pays special attention to improving the quality of its staff: 100% of teachers have university degrees, many of whom have teaching hours that are classified as good or excellent.

During the school year, 22/26 teachers achieved the title of excellent teacher at the school level. Professional development work associated with innovation in teaching methods is regularly implemented through training, professional activities of school clusters, and specialized seminars.

Facilities and teaching equipment continue to be invested in and exploited effectively. Although there are still some degraded functional rooms and unsynchronized equipment, the school has proactively overcome this by making use of and making its own teaching aids, and mobilizing social resources to supplement library books and equipment.

The school has been officially surveyed by the Department of Education and Training of Phu Tho province and has been assessed as a level 3 quality accreditation school and a level 2 national standard school in December 2022.

In the 2024-2025 school year, the school will conduct a self-assessment according to the plan to achieve level 3 quality accreditation and level 2 national standard school.

The educational and training achievements that the school has achieved in recent school years will be the premise to create the strength and power for teachers and students of Thanh Ba Town Primary School to continue to improve the quality of comprehensive education; maintain the school meeting national standards level 2 and achieving quality accreditation level 3.
