Presenting the appointment decision for the title of Associate Professor in the field of Traditional Vietnamese Medicine.

On the afternoon of December 11th, the Vietnam Academy of Traditional Medicine held a ceremony to appoint associate professors.

This year, the State Council of Professors decided to recognize 900 candidates as meeting the standards for professor and associate professor titles in 2025, including 71 professors and 829 associate professors. Among them, 4 educators from the Vietnam Academy of Traditional Medicine met the standards for associate professor titles.

Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Quoc Huy - Director of the Vietnam Academy of Traditional Medicine, delivered a speech at the ceremony.

Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Quoc Huy - Director of the Vietnam Academy of Traditional Medicine - affirmed that the process of recognizing and appointing professors and associate professors is a major and important policy of the Party and the State, aimed at building, training, and utilizing a team of leading and key scientific personnel in training and research institutions according to national standards, gradually approaching advanced standards in the region and the world.

Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Quoc Huy stated that over the years, the Academy has appointed 1 professor and 37 associate professors. These faculty members have made and continue to make significant and positive contributions to improving the quality of training, scientific research, and technology transfer, contributing to the development of the Academy.

At the ceremony, in addition to the four associate professors selected by the Academy's professorship title council, the Academy also appointed five associate professors selected by other title councils and reappointed one associate professor after a five-year cycle.

Leaders of the Vietnam Academy of Traditional Medicine presented the decision recognizing the achievement of the associate professor title at the ceremony.

The Director of the Vietnam Academy of Traditional Medicine acknowledged that the achievement of associate professor titles is the result of the persistent efforts of the newly appointed associate professors in scientific research and training, along with the support and encouragement from their families, institutions, and colleagues.

However, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Quoc Huy noted that, with their scientific research experience, the lecturers should continue to make important contributions to the training and research career of the Academy and of the specialized departments in which they work, worthy of the title awarded today. From there, they should contribute to the Academy in promoting teaching, scientific research, and international publications even more.
