State Bank of Region 15 cooperates with media to communicate monetary policy

On November 20, the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) Region 15 Branch held a signing ceremony of the Coordination Regulations with the two Newspaper and Radio - Television agencies of An Giang and Ca Mau provinces.

The signing ceremony was attended by Mr. Tran Van Phuoc - Acting Director of the State Bank of Vietnam, Branch Region 15, Mr. Lam Viet Khoi - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of An Giang Province Newspaper and Radio - Television, Mr. Ngo Minh Toan - Permanent Deputy Director of Ca Mau Province Newspaper and Radio - Television and key officials of the bank and press agencies of the two provinces.

Accordingly, the Coordination Regulations aim to promote communication on monetary policy and banking activities, enhance transparency, promptly refute and handle false information and fake news; at the same time, promote the role of the press in spreading good models and typical examples in banking activities.

Regional State Bank leaders and local press agencies commented that the signing of the Coordination Regulation with the press of An Giang and Ca Mau provinces is a concrete step to realize the State Bank's direction on strengthening information and communication work in the monetary and banking sector.

This activity also strengthens the coordination relationship between the State Bank of Vietnam, Region 15 branch, and local press agencies, contributing to improving the effectiveness of state management, ensuring economic security, and supporting socio-economic development in the area.
