Bustling electric vehicle market for back-to-school season

At some stores and dealers of XĐĐ and XMĐ in the province these days, it is not difficult to see customers who are parents and students coming to buy. Through research, the trend this year is that most parents choose to buy domestically assembled cars for their children.

The owner of the Hoang Quan electric vehicle business in Tho Phu commune said: “Compared to previous years, this year the number of customers coming to buy vehicles at the store is higher, sometimes selling 10-15 vehicles a day. The vehicle lines sold by the store are famous brands such as Giant, Nijia, Aima... with a variety of colors and prices suitable for the economic conditions of local people. In general, these vehicle lines have been improved in design, suitable for the tastes of young people, especially school-age children.

Mr. Le Manh Hung, a resident of Tho Phu commune, said: “My daughter just passed the entrance exam to Trieu Son 4 High School. To help her have a means of transportation to school, I went to Hoang Quan store to find and choose a vehicle. After being consulted by the owner, I decided to buy my daughter a Nijia Avenger XDD, for more than 12 million VND.”

Compared to XĐĐ, the XMĐ market is more vibrant because this is the type of vehicle chosen by people, especially high school students. The Nam Ha electric vehicle store (No. 56 Trung Son, Hoang Hoa commune) is considered a large XĐĐ and XMĐ business location in the commune. This store has many models of vehicles under the brands Yadea, Xmen, Orla... with a variety of colors and designs with prices ranging from 5 to 20 million VND.

The shop owner said: “Customers buy cars sporadically throughout the year, but the busiest time is from the beginning of August. Currently, the shop sells an average of a few dozen cars per day. Compared to previous years, this year the models of the XĐĐ and XMĐ lines are very diverse, with youthful designs and prices suitable for customers' budgets. The colors of the electric vehicles are also more prominent and eye-catching than in previous years. The designs of the vehicles are increasingly more beautiful and luxurious like scooters. Previously, this market was mostly imported cars from China. Recently, many Vietnamese electric vehicle companies have had quality products with gradually improved designs, meeting customers' tastes."

To prepare for the new school year, Hoang Bao Cham in Hoang Hoa commune eagerly searched with his friends for a suitable motorbike. Bao Cham had already chosen an Orla B motorbike model with owner identification, priced at about 21.4 million VND. According to Bao Cham, his criteria for choosing a motorbike are that it must be fashionable , light and safe. This motorbike has just been launched, very suitable for me.

The school year is approaching, the XĐĐ and XMĐ market continues to attract many parents and students. Therefore, when buying a vehicle, parents should go to reputable stores and dealers with genuine warranties to avoid buying fake, poor quality goods; need to research carefully to make a choice that suits their children's needs. In particular, when buying XMĐ, it is necessary to ask the store to issue a value-added invoice to facilitate vehicle registration at the police agency according to the provisions of law. Along with that, each family needs to promote responsibility in coordinating with schools and society to strengthen education on compliance with the law on traffic order and safety, preventing the situation of students riding XMĐ not complying with the requirement to wear helmets as prescribed, which has been quite common in the province in recent times.
