Capella Bangkok marketing director Josephine Png also shared that her favourite spot in the hotel is “on the rooftop by the river under the trees”. During the day, it is “super quiet”, she said, but at night, the river comes alive with party boats passing by.

General Manager John Blanco said that since opening during the Covid-19 pandemic, the hotel has become a popular destination for locals.

“The Covid-19 pandemic has given us the opportunity to really be warm, close and intimate with the Thai people. They are our wonderful customers,” said Mr. Blanco.
