Building bridges of technology at the local level.

Not only is she a dynamic and enthusiastic Youth Union leader, Nguyen Thi Hoang My, Secretary of the Tra My Commune Youth Union, is also a pioneer in implementing digital transformation in the locality, gradually integrating information technology into Youth Union work and daily life.

Immediately after the commune merger, she proactively planned and assigned tasks to build the "Tra My Youth" fanpage. To date, the fanpage has posted nearly 1,000 news articles, attracting millions of views and interactions, contributing to helping people quickly grasp the policies and guidelines after the merger; keep up-to-date with election content; and access information on social welfare, disaster prevention, and cultural life.

As a result, people are gradually taking the initiative to access information through social media instead of relying on traditional notification methods. Notably, the Youth Union has innovated its communication methods using infographics, short videos , and AI applications, making information more visual, easy to understand, and easy to remember. Content such as warnings about floods and landslides, or videos spreading positive energy, always receive attention from the people.

However, given the unique characteristics of this mountainous commune facing many difficulties, Ms. My determined that digital transformation is not just about technology, but fundamentally about people, with young people playing a pioneering role in bringing technology closer to the community. Through specific activities, young people are gradually shifting from "participants" to "leaders" in the local digital transformation.

Accordingly, Ms. My assigned specific tasks, linked to the actual needs of the people; at the same time, she promptly commended good models and effective methods. It is through these small but practical actions that young people recognize the value of their contributions, thereby forming a pioneering spirit and a sense of responsibility in the digital age.

Meanwhile, Pham Le Tu (Da Nang University of Technology, Da Nang University) is a dynamic and creative student in the field of entrepreneurship linked to digital transformation. Driven by the desire to apply specialized knowledge to practical work in the Youth Union and Student Association, Tu developed an initiative to integrate artificial intelligence into youth activities to identify and nurture future leaders. This model contributes to the innovation of traditional activities towards digitalization, creating an intelligent interactive environment for members to hone their skills and demonstrate their leadership abilities.

Not stopping there, Tu and his team developed the project "BLUEWAVE - applying artificial intelligence and computer vision in monitoring and analyzing urban flood depth in Da Nang". This solution has high applicability, supporting warning, rescue, and urban planning efforts.

Not only excelling in academics and research, Tú is also actively spreading the spirit of digital transformation in the community. As the team leader of the Community Mobilization Team during the Green Summer Campaign in Lìa commune ( Quang Tri province ), Tú and other volunteers organized a digital skills training class for local officials and civil servants. Here, the young volunteers directly provided hands-on guidance, teaching them how to use office tools, email, and access new technologies like AI, contributing to improving the efficiency of local administration and communication.
