Fireworks masterpieces from Italy and America

NDO - On the evening of June 15, the second night of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2024 with the theme "Natural Masterpieces" took place with the competition between the American and Italian teams.

Comrade Nguyen Van Quang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee, and city leaders attended. Also attending were international guests, leaders and former leaders of the Party, State, central departments, ministries, branches, neighboring localities and Da Nang City.

The Italian fireworks team won DIFF two years in a row in 2017 and 2018.

“The Radiant Universe: Symphony of Lights” is the opening performance of DIFF 2024 by the Italian team. Previously, Mr. Damiano Baraldo, captain of the Italian team, shared: “The Italian team will express the colors of nature both day and night through music . The combination of colors and music will recreate the nuances of nature and the environment of the city - that is what the audience will feel when coming to this competition night”.

Those natural nuances were sketched by Italia on the sky of Da Nang, in the form of blooming flowers, green grass and shimmering white clouds. With the gentle melodious music, the audience seemed to see a watercolor painting of the beautiful country of Vietnam, where nature and people blend into one.

Italy opened the night with a masterpiece called “The Radiant Universe: Symphony of Light”.

As the rhythm changes more strongly, each burst of fireworks also explodes like storms in the wild nature. The splendid fireworks in the sky, reflecting many colors on the water surface, like a natural kingdom alive from day to night.

The US team was also "equally matched" as they had previously promised to be able to bring the audience a beautiful fireworks display, with an extremely complex performance.

This is the first time the Rozzi Fireworks team (USA) has come to DIFF.

“We’re putting on a very complex show,” said U.S. team captain Nancy Rozzi. “But it’s all synchronized. You’re seeing all the variations of color. It’s the kind of entertainment that we hope the audience will feel or enjoy.”

This is the first time the Rozzi Fireworks team (USA) has come to DIFF. However, with more than 100 years of experience in fireworks and the most advanced fireworks techniques, the USA has taken viewers on a world tour with many emotions.

The performance, titled “Humanity – A Bridge Between Nations,” featured a series of giant fireworks and vibrant colors, symbolizing the diversity of human experience.

The next performance night with the theme “Magical Love” will take place on June 22 between the German and Polish teams.
