Ninh Binh expands cooperation with Korean enterprises, aiming for sustainable development

Through the meeting with the Korean Association of Small and Medium Enterprises, Ninh Binh has opened a new channel of cooperation, creating opportunities for both sides to promote investment and move towards long-term development.

Ninh Binh provincial leaders recently had a working session with the Korean Small and Medium Enterprises Association. During the working session, the locality clearly expressed its determination to increase investment attraction and expand international cooperation, especially with Korean enterprises, experienced and successful investors in the global market.

The Korean Small and Medium Enterprises Association expressed its desire to cooperate with Ninh Binh in key areas such as transport infrastructure and seaports, and is willing to share experiences in building “smart factories” and applying artificial intelligence in production. These are also directions that are in line with the strategy that Ninh Binh is setting out: developing modern industry, innovation and improving the quality of human resources.

Ninh Binh Provincial Party Secretary Truong Quoc Huy acknowledged the contributions of the Korean business community to the province's socio -economic development. He affirmed that the success of investors is also the success of Ninh Binh, and hoped that the Association would continue to play a bridging role to attract more Korean businesses.

Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Pham Quang Ngoc said that Ninh Binh has become the destination of 212 valid Korean FDI projects with a total investment capital of 2.7 billion USD. Of these, 145 projects are located in industrial parks, mainly focusing on supporting industries such as automobile assembly and electronic components. The presence of Hyundai Thanh Cong Vietnam Automobile Manufacturing Joint Stock Company is a typical example of effective Vietnam - Korea cooperation in the province.

Not only stopping at attracting investment capital, Ninh Binh is persistently implementing administrative reforms, completing transport infrastructure, logistics and industrial park systems to create an open and sustainable investment environment. In particular, the northern region of the province is oriented to develop into a high-tech industrial center, associated with innovation and training of high-quality human resources.
