Mr. Nguyen Khac Phong, Director of the Cooperative, said: Since the province supported the installation of signs and shelves displaying OCOP products..., it has helped promote local specialties such as: fresh grapes, grape wine, grape juice, dried grapes, dried apples, fish sauce... to consumers and tourists much more conveniently, thereby promoting the consumption of OCOP products in the province to tourists from all over, helping the business activities of the Cooperative to develop more and more.

Taking advantage of transportation and geographical location favorable for the development of trade, services, and tourism, especially sea tourism, Ninh Hai district has created favorable conditions in terms of administrative procedures, premises, etc. for businesses, organizations, and individuals to invest in developing trade, services, and tourism industries and professions. Thanks to that, in recent times, trade and service activities in the district have increased in quantity. Currently, the district has 23 type III markets and supermarkets in operation; Over 3,900 households produce, trade, and sell, creating jobs for thousands of local workers in a variety of business sectors, such as: food and beverage services, tourism services, electronics, mechanics, construction materials trading, groceries, fashion, agricultural supplies services, etc. In addition, to promote the development of trade and services, in recent times, the district has focused on mobilizing investment resources, upgrading, and developing synchronous traffic infrastructure, facilitating the trade of goods; encouraging households with houses on the street to expand production and trade in a variety of goods to meet the shopping needs for production and consumption of people inside and outside the area; strengthening security and order to ensure peace of mind for people to invest and expand their business sectors; paying attention to market management, preventing smuggling of counterfeit and poor-quality goods, ensuring the rights of consumers and businesses supplying goods; Promote propaganda and dissemination of legal regulations in commercial activities to business households in the area. The development of trade and services in the district has created a strong shift in the labor structure, contributing to improving people's lives. Political security, order and social safety are maintained. Thanks to that, the appearance of the new countryside in the district is changing clearly, business, production and service stores are increasingly expanding, trading and exchanging goods activities are bustling. Thereby raising the current average income per capita in the district to 71.8 million VND/person/year, the poverty rate according to the new poverty standard in 2021 is 4.89%, by 2023 it will decrease to 2.44%.
To promote the development of trade and services, in the coming time, Ninh Hai district will continue to promote investment to call on businesses, economic sectors and individuals to invest in developing trade and services in the area in a modern direction; continue to effectively exploit the potential and advantages of the marine economy according to Resolution No. 17-NQ/TU dated January 17, 2022 of the Provincial Party Committee, term XIV on developing the marine economy to 2025, with a vision to 2030; promote economic restructuring, exploit the potentials and strengths of the locality such as: Developing infrastructure, traffic systems connecting with coastal routes, canals connecting with the Tan My irrigation system, Nui Chua World Biosphere Reserve, Dam Nai area... for economic development, especially in the fields of: Marine economy, tourism; urban, urban economy; high-tech agriculture...; Effectively exploit the district's resources (biosphere, scenic spots...) and have solutions to attract investment resources, promote innovation and creativity to create a breakthrough in both growth speed and quality, especially in tourism, services, and industry; strive for the district to become a center for marine economic development and tourism. Strengthen the management and control of goods quality in the area, contributing to raising awareness of compliance with legal regulations for business owners; focus on widely implementing the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods".
