Ninh Phuoc promotes party member development among ethnic minorities

In order to synchronously implement the work of developing party members among ethnic minorities, the Standing Committee of Ninh Phuoc District Party Committee has specifically determined the targets for admitting party members annually and for the entire term; at the same time, directed the Organizing Committee of the District Party Committee to assign the targets for admitting party members annually to grassroots party organizations; guided the implementation of survey steps, developed plans to create sources and develop party members; proposed solutions and good practices for the work of creating sources and developing party members in village party cells, residential groups, members of socio- political organizations, students, and workers who are ethnic minorities, thereby contributing to completing the targets for admitting party members annually and for the entire term according to the program, plan and resolution.

Comrade Mai Quoc Tuan, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of Ninh Phuoc District Party Committee, said: As a locality with 9/9 communes and towns where ethnic minorities live, especially Cham people; closely following the leadership, direction as well as concretizing the annual targets assigned by the Provincial Party Committee on admitting new party members, the Organizing Committee of the District Party Committee has advised the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee to assign targets for the number of party development to each grassroots party organization, in which special attention is paid to creating sources and developing the party among ethnic minorities. Accordingly, the Organizing Committee of the District Party Committee has advised the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee to direct party committees and party organizations to develop plans to create sources for developing party members; attach the responsibility of the heads of party committees in implementing the party development plan; and include party admission targets in the emulation criteria of units and localities. Every month, the District Party Committee's Organizing Committee monitors and reports the results of Party membership admission in general and ethnic minority Party membership admission in particular of each branch and Party Committee to the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee for timely guidance. In addition, Party committees and organizations at all levels also strengthen propaganda, political and ideologicaleducation , raise awareness and responsibility for cadres, Party members and the masses; promote the role of socio-political organizations in Party membership admission; pay attention to Party development in residential areas, key teams of villages, neighborhoods and prestigious people in ethnic minority areas...

From 2020 to present, Ninh Phuoc District Party Committee has admitted 182 new ethnic minority party members. Specifically, in 2020, 32 ethnic minority party members were admitted, including 31 Cham party members and 1 Raglai party member. In 2021, 34 ethnic minority party members were admitted, including 33 Cham party members and 1 Tho party member. In 2022, 34 ethnic minority party members were admitted, including 33 Cham party members and 1 Chinese party member. In 2023, 42 ethnic minority party members were admitted, including 41 Cham party members and 1 Raglai party member. In 2024, 39 ethnic minority party members were admitted, including 36 Cham party members, 2 Raglai party members and 1 Chinese party member. The above results show that the number of ethnic minority party members admitted by the Ninh Phuoc District Party Committee is always higher than the previous year, with guaranteed quality. After admission, party members play a pioneering and exemplary role, practice what they preach, and are truly core members at the grassroots level.

According to comrade Mai Quoc Tuan, these results were achieved thanks to the Party Committees and Party cells closely following the direction of the District Party Committee, building plans to create sources for developing ethnic minority Party members every year and for the entire term, linked to specific addresses; improving the quality of admitting ethnic minority Party members, ensuring the correct standards, processes, procedures, and conditions according to regulations. The admitted ethnic minority Party members are mostly outstanding people with good political qualities, pure morality, trained and tested in practice, and have a correct and complete understanding of the Party, contributing to improving the leadership capacity, fighting strength of grassroots Party organizations and the quality of cadres and Party members.

With effective and flexible methods, the work of developing new ethnic minority party members in Ninh Phuoc district has brought positive results. This is proven through practical activities, a strong political system and party organizations, clearly demonstrating the role of leading the masses in economic, cultural and social development, ensuring national defense and security in the locality. Thereby contributing to helping the district Party Committee lead, direct and successfully complete the targets and tasks set out in the 2020-2025 term.
