In recent times, Lam Dong province has achieved remarkable achievements in tourism development, with many large projects being implemented and put into operation. These efforts not only contribute to diversifying tourism products but also affirm the position of Da Lat - Lam Dong as a leading attractive destination in Vietnam.

According to the latest statistics, Tuyen Lam Lake National Tourist Area has attracted a large amount of investment capital, with a total of 39 licensed projects. This shows the great interest of investors in the potential for tourism development in the locality. In addition, other key projects such as Dankia - Suoi Vang Tourist Area, Prenn Lake Tourist Area, and Sapung Mountain Tourist Area are also being accelerated.
With large-scale projects that have been approved for investment, such as the Love Valley - Dream Hill - Thong Nhat Hill tourist area, Dai Tung Lam Hoa Sen tourist area, or the Horse racing track, resort and golf course project cluster in Da Huoai district, Lam Dong is gradually completing the tourism infrastructure system to meet the increasing demands of tourists.
In the period of 2022 - 2024, there will be a number of tourism projects completed and put into operation, creating new products for Lam Dong province's tourism such as Merperle Da Lat Hotel, Elephant Mountain Pine Forest Project, Liang Waterfall Tourist Site...
Not only focusing on infrastructure investment, Lam Dong also focuses on diversifying tourism products. The restoration and embellishment of historical and cultural relics has contributed to preserving traditional cultural values and attracting tourists. In addition, community tourism activities associated with the cultural identity of ethnic minorities have also been promoted, creating unique experiences for tourists.
To date, the province has 37 ranked relics, including 2 special national relics (Cat Tien Archaeological Site and Cat Tien National Park); 18 national relics and scenic spots; 17 provincial relics and scenic spots.
To promote the image of Da Lat - Lam Dong tourism, the province has organized many large-scale cultural and sports events such as Da Lat Flower Festival, Lam Dong Golden Tourism Week, Dalat Ultra Trail... These events not only attract a large number of tourists but also contribute to building the local tourism brand.
However, besides the successes achieved, Lam Dong still has challenges to solve. With the strong development of the tourism industry, Lam Dong has to face fierce competition from other localities. Developing tourism goes hand in hand with environmental protection, Lam Dong needs effective solutions to ensure the balance between economic development and environmental protection.
To address the above challenges, Lam Dong needs to continue to promote investment, focus on developing unique tourism products, and strengthen environmental management and protection.
With continuous efforts, Lam Dong is gradually affirming its position as a leading attractive tourist destination in Vietnam. However, to develop sustainably, Lam Dong needs synchronous and effective solutions to overcome the challenges that are arising.
