Noi Bai International Airport is in the top 20 airports with the most comfortable check-in waiting time, according to global passenger reviews on Airline Quality.
To find out which airports have the shortest or longest queues in the world , travel website Casago analyzed passenger reviews on Airline Quality, where each review assigns a 1-5 star rating to the check-in experience, depending on how long the queues were.
Noi Bai International Airport, Hanoi ranked 11th with 63.33% rating 4 and 5 stars for queue time. Tan Son Nhat Airport was not named in Casago's ranking.
Topping the list is Singapore Changi International Airport with 74.5% positive reviews. It is also the winner of the Skytrax World's Best Airport Award in 2023.
Next is Siem Reap International Airport in Cambodia with 71.43%. Third is Cape Town International Airport in South Africa with 70.45%, fourth is Haneda International Airport in Tokyo, Japan with 68.25% positive reviews.

The top 20 includes other representatives from Asia such as Hong Kong International Airport (China) at 9th place; Tokyo Narita International Airport, Japan at 15th place; and Incheon Airport in Seoul, South Korea at 20th place.
The 10 airports with the worst waiting experiences are Grenoble Alpes Isère in France, Berlin Brandenburg in Germany, Bordeaux and Paris-Beauvais in France, London Stansted and London Luton airports in the UK, Heraklion in Greece, Belfast in the UK, Brussels South Charleroi in Belgium, and Geneva in Switzerland.
Grenoble Alpes Isère Airport in France is the airport with the worst queueing experience in the world, with only 1.59% rating it 4 and 5 stars. During the ski season, passengers have to endure crowded conditions and long queues.
One passenger described her experience in a review: “Very understaffed and the queuing system was woefully inefficient. It took us an hour to clear customs and over an hour and a half to get our luggage.”
The study also revealed that Estonian passengers had the fewest complaints, with 55.17% giving positive reviews about waiting times. Passengers from Vietnam were quite comfortable during the check-in process at the airport, with 54.39% giving it 4 and 5 stars.
The statistics show that passengers from Malta, Argentina, Saudi Arabia, Ireland, Denmark, Mexico, Kenya, Switzerland, the UK and the US are the most likely to complain about waiting at the airport, based on the percentage of 4- and 5-star reviews they give.
