Nong Son organizes nearly 100 patrols and sweeps in assigned forest areas

(QNO) - According to the Nong Son District Forest Protection Department, in the first 6 months of 2023, the District Forest Protection Department coordinated with district authorities, local authorities, and forest owners to organize 99 patrols and sweeps in the district's forest areas.

The authorities discovered and recorded 5 cases of forest law violations. Of which, the District Forest Protection Department discovered 1 case, 2 cases were transferred from the Commune People's Committee for handling according to their authority, and 2 cases were received from the Elephant Species and Habitat Conservation Area Management Board.
