Nestled at the foot of Hon Du mountain, in Suoi Lach village, Khanh Trung commune, Khanh Vinh district, Hoa Qua Son farm (Hoa Qua Son Farm) with an area of 16 hectares of the owner Le Thi Kim Thanh is an organic farm carefully built from the owner's love for nature. The farm is planned in areas for about 40 types of fruit trees such as: Rambutan, durian, star apple, coconut, grapefruit, jackfruit, guava, plum, longan, sapodilla, mangosteen, yellow dragon fruit, orange...; in which, Ms. Kim Thanh has chosen all the trees to be new varieties to create uniqueness for the farm. In addition, the farm also grows many types of trees with high economic value such as: Cherry, Indian pomegranate, date palm... creating richness, diversity, each season has its own food. Not to mention bananas and papayas planted throughout the farm, ripe fruit is abundant on the trees, so birds, squirrels... come to eat, contributing to protecting trees and crops.

Hoa Qua Son Farm also grows many flowers to create the landscape, such as: roses, frangipani, orchids... and about a hundred peach-flowered Cassia trees (also known as Cassia cherry, cherry beans...) with clusters of pink and white flowers that are very poetic. In addition, the farm owner also pays attention to the economic value of the Aquilaria tree when testing the biological agarwood planting. The farm is built with clean criteria: clean air, clean irrigation water, clean soil, organic fertilizers and safe pesticides to create a garden with green fruit trees all year round, and you can pick the fruit right at the root.

In the farm grounds, there is also a kơ nia tree (locally called a cây tree) that experts have determined to be about 350 years old. The tree is 30m high, the diameter of the canopy is also about 30m, so the tree shape is very beautiful, balanced, majestic, the roots are deep and spread to the stream Lach, which babbles day and night. On May 22, 2020, the kơ nia tree in Hoa Qua Son Fram was recognized as a Vietnamese Heritage Tree by the Vietnam Association for Conservation of Nature and Environment. Standing under the kơ nia tree when the sun was about to set, the birds were chirping, a feeling of both peace and joy, in my heart there was an echo of the famous song Shadow of the kơ nia tree (poem by Ngoc Anh, music by Phan Huynh Dieu): In the morning I went to the field/I saw the shadow of the kơ nia tree/The shadow fell on my chest/I came back and missed you and couldn't sleep/In the afternoon my mother went to the field/I saw the shadow of the kơ nia tree/The round shadow covered my mother's back/I came back and missed you, my mother cried...

In 2023, Khanh Hoa celebrates 370 years of building and developing the province. It is a process of building and developing, the efforts of many generations of predecessors and today. Suddenly, I think of a kơ nia tree under the Hon Du revolutionary base, about the same age, standing firm in natural storms, in bombs and bullets of war, witnessing many historical events, experiencing many changes in life. An ancient kơ nia tree seems to have a hidden dialogue with people about the beauty of nature, of human qualities, of literary and artistic symbols:

Like the shadow of a kơ nia tree

Like the wind in the kơ nia tree…
