Female commandos practice parade for 50th anniversary of reunification

Amid the harsh sunlight of the South these days, on the training ground, female commandos are diligently practicing for the parade to celebrate the 50th anniversary of national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

Each strong step, each decisive movement contained pride and great determination. The female soldiers were selected from elite units of Military Region 7, Military Region 9, Military Region 5, Army Corps 34, Army Officer School 2 and Army Academy, mainly professional soldiers.

From the early winter days of December 2024, on the training ground of Military School of Military Region 7, the female soldiers, carrying great honor, diligently practiced under the strict guidance of the command instructors. Each strong step, each decisive movement, was the result of days of arduous training, from practicing formation, to marching to the beat of the music.

The female commandos with a spirit of steel are equipped with the most modern weapons such as: STV-215 submachine guns, bulletproof helmets integrated with electronic optical equipment (flashlights, night vision binoculars, thermal imaging cameras, etc.), communication equipment, K56 bulletproof armor produced by Z117 factory (General Department of Defense Industry). The total weight of weapons equipped for each female soldier in the female commando force currently training is about 7 - 8 kg.
