On the evening of October 19, speaking with VietNamNet reporter, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong, Principal of Co Dam Primary School ( Ha Tinh province) said that on the same morning, she and some people took HTHL, a 5B class female student suspected of being abused by her stepfather, to the hospital for examination.

According to Ms. Hong, at around 8:00 a.m. on October 19, while she was at school, she received information that student L. was injured by her stepfather's abuse and was being treated at the local medical station. Upon receiving the news, the female principal went to the medical station to visit student L.

"When I arrived at the medical station, L. had a head injury. He couldn't speak much and was tired. When I asked him, he said he was beaten by his stepfather. Because the medical station couldn't take a detailed X-ray, I panicked and rushed him to the hospital for examination," said Ms. Hong.

The teachers then coordinated with local authorities to take the female student to a hospital in Vinh city (old), Nghe An province for treatment. There, the doctor stitched 5-6 stitches to the open wound on her head.

When taken to the hospital, L. could not walk by himself and had to be carried to the car by police officers because in addition to the wound on his head, his legs were also swollen.

Talking to the teacher, female student L. said that last night she was beaten by her stepfather, Nguyen Van Nam, but because her father closed the door, she could not run out.

"This morning, L. opened the window and called the neighbors for help. Then the neighbors and the village chief took L. to the commune health station," the female principal said.

Ms. Hong said that in May 2024, L. was also beaten by this man and the school reported it to the authorities. The police then worked with L.'s parents.

"Last year, when L. was abused and discovered by her homeroom teacher, when reporting the incident to the police, her parents also signed a commitment not to repeat the offense. L.'s grandmother recounted that on the evening of October 18, L.'s stepfather had been drinking and beat her. The father thought L. was lying, so he beat her," Ms. Hong added.

It is known that L. is the stepchild of Ms. Ban Thi Binh (residing in Son La). After that, Ms. Binh lived with Mr. Nguyen Van Nam (residing in Co Dam commune, Ha Tinh province) and continued to have two children together.

"At the time L. was beaten, L.'s mother and two young children were returning to Son La because L.'s grandfather was seriously ill," said the female principal.

Previously, on social networks appeared a picture of a girl wearing a uniform, with many wounds on her back and head. According to the reporter's investigation, the girl in question is HTNL (5th grade student, Co Dam Primary School).

Upon receiving the news, the leaders of the People's Committee of Co Dam commune directed the police to take action. According to the leaders of the People's Committee of Co Dam commune, L. lives with her biological mother and stepfather named Nam. Currently, the girl is being treated at the hospital.

The Ministry of Health has stepped in and requested an assessment of a 4-year-old child who was abused by a teacher . Bo De Ward Police have received a case of a 4-year-old child suspected of being abused by a teacher at a kindergarten and are coordinating with a medical facility to request an assessment.
