On the morning of October 19, the "Women Run for a Smoke-Free Environment" race organized by Vietnam Women's Newspaper in collaboration with the Tobacco Harm Prevention Fund ( Ministry of Health ) took place at Thong Nhat Park.

The tournament offers an exciting playground, where each step carries a message for the health of women, children, and a smoke-free community. With a distance of 1 lap around Bay Mau Lake (equivalent to about 2.5 km), the race is not only a physical challenge but also an opportunity for athletes to receive many attractive prizes.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Trang was the first female athlete to finish. She shared her feelings: "This is the first time I have participated in a big race like this and also the first time I clearly felt the feeling of victory when coming in first place - both surprising and emotional. During the race, I tried to keep a steady pace, starting slowly to warm up my body and then gradually increasing my speed in the final stages.

The tournament carries a message for women's and children's health, for a smoke-free community.

I find the 'For a smoke-free environment' race very meaningful, not only helping each person improve their health but also spreading the message of healthy living and protecting a clean environment for the community."
