Zhang Shenxinran is a third-year student at the Department of Marxism-Leninism at Tsinghua University, the most prestigious university in China.
When he was admitted to the school three years ago, Zhang attracted attention when he donated all of his family's scholarship money to help poor students.
The amount of money that Zhang donated was up to 105,000 yuan (more than 380 million VND). This was the amount of money given to Zhang by his family, because Zhang was the first person in his family to be admitted to a prestigious university in China as well as in the world .

Zhang’s score in the college entrance exam at that time was also among the highest in the country. As soon as she stood up to donate the scholarship money given by her family, this girl from Zhao’an County (Fujian Province, China) became a sensation among the Chinese internet community.
Zhang has an impressive appearance, likened to a silver screen star. Like many other young people, after taking the university entrance exam and waiting for the results, she also tried to practice filming short clips and gradually livestreaming on her personal social media account.
However, when she passed the prestigious university entrance exam and did the above action, the attention for this beautiful girl suddenly became too great. In that situation, Zhang decided to temporarily "turn off the airwaves" to be able to start her university years as normally as possible.
Zhang then withdrew from social media platforms for nearly three years, until recently, when she suddenly reappeared.
At this time, Zhang spoke up to share his thoughts: “Some people said that I donated scholarships just for show, to attract attention. At that time, I was very sad. Maybe by now, they have forgotten me, so I came back and started sharing new stories.”

When she returned to social media, Zhang shared daily stories, and sometimes she livestreamed to advise students on study methods.
Before this year’s college entrance exam, Zhang received many questions about his secret to studying during the final stage. Zhang replied: “Don’t worry too much. You should understand that we can’t do all the test sets or read all the review books.
Plan each subject in a way that suits your ability, strength and speed, then persistently follow the plan that has been outlined.
Zhang said that in college, she maintained the habit of studying hard for 8 hours a day, reading 500 pages a week and exercising regularly every day.
“I am a good child and a good student, but I also like to take care of my appearance. I think being good at studying and being beautiful are not contradictory,” Zhang said. She said her dream is to become a university or high school teacher.

When Zhang returned to social media and attracted great attention, the female student's father frankly responded to Chinese media that he did not support his daughter's public use of social media and even livestreaming to interact with the online community.
Mr. Zhang Jiatian believes that his daughter is “too beautiful” and that appearing online can easily get her into trouble, because it attracts too much attention. This can easily affect her studies and life.
Currently, Zhang Shenxinran receives many advertising cooperation offers, but this makes her father even more worried. “College students can start a business, but they need to have the right direction, they cannot simply follow their inspiration, and then get into unnecessary trouble,” Zhang’s father said.
Zhang's story continues to cause controversy on Chinese social media. Many people believe that Zhang Jiatian has the correct and cautious perspective of a father, and is only trying to protect his daughter.
“This girl is almost perfect in every way. It is understandable that the father is so worried about his daughter. It is clear that their family is not interested in making money from the online community,” commented a netizen.
