The Prime Minister has just issued a decision to transfer and appoint Mr. Le Quan, Chairman of the Council and Director of Hanoi National University, to hold the position of Deputy Minister of Education and Training.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has just signed decisions to receive, transfer and appoint leaders of the following ministries and agencies: Health, Justice, Science and Technology, Education and Training, Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences, Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, and Hanoi National University.

In Decision No. 1889, the Prime Minister assigned and appointed Mr. Le Quan, Chairman of the Council and Director of Hanoi National University, to hold the position of Deputy Minister of Education and Training.

Mr. Le Quan was born in 1974 in Hanoi, from Quang Ngai, has a high level of political theory, a doctorate in management science from Toulon University (France), is an expert in human resource development and entrepreneurship, was appointed associate professor in 2009, professor in 2017.

Mr. Le Quan has held leadership and management positions such as: Head of Human Resource Management Department (University of Commerce), Member of the Board of Directors of the Francophone Entrepreneurship Institute, Member of the Executive Board of the Entrepreneurship Research Scientists Network (Francophone University Organization), in charge of international training projects at the University of Commerce, and in charge of Filière Francophone on business administration.

Mr. Quan used to be the Director of the Center for International Training and Education (University of Economics, Vietnam National University, Hanoi); Head of the Organization and Personnel Committee of Vietnam National University, Hanoi; Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Head of the Organization Committee of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Party Committee of Vietnam National University, Hanoi; Deputy Director of Vietnam National University, Hanoi; Deputy Minister of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province.

At the same time, in Decision No. 1885, the Prime Minister assigned and appointed Mr. Hoang Minh Son, Deputy Minister of Education and Training, to hold the position of Chairman of the Council and Director of Hanoi National University.

In addition, the Prime Minister also made other decisions on personnel, including the transfer and appointment of Mr. Vu Hai Quan, member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Council, Director of Ho Chi Minh City National University, to hold the position of Permanent Deputy Minister of Science and Technology.

In Decision No. 1880, the Prime Minister accepted and appointed Mr. Le Van Loi, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, to hold the position of President of the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences.

In Decision No. 1886, the Prime Minister accepted and appointed Mr. Tran Hong Thai, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Lam Dong province, to hold the position of Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology.
