On October 22nd, according to a source from Dan Tri newspaper, the People's Committee of Ca Mau province issued a document urging the Director of the Department of Internal Affairs and the Director of the Department of Education and Training to continue addressing Mr. NVT's petition.
Mr. T. requested the Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province to direct the relevant agencies to promptly implement the conclusion dated June 27th by the People's Committee of Bac Lieu province (formerly) regarding the allegations against the Department of Education and Training of Bac Lieu province (formerly).
Mr. T. is a teacher who was exonerated in a case of illegal transfer that occurred 9 years ago at Bac Lieu Specialized High School.

The People's Committee of Ca Mau province urged departments and agencies to continue addressing teachers' requests regarding the conclusions related to the former Bac Lieu Provincial Department of Education and Training (Illustrative image: CTV).
Previously, on February 7th, the People's Committee of the former Bac Lieu province (now Ca Mau province) issued a decision to accept the complaint of Mr. NVT (a teacher at Bac Lieu High School) accusing the Department of Education and Training of the former Bac Lieu province of illegally transferring him from Bac Lieu Specialized High School to Bac Lieu High School in 2016.
Mr. T. claims that the school incorrectly evaluated his professional performance for two consecutive years (2013-2014 and 2014-2015), resulting in him being rated as average. This is the reason Mr. T. was transferred to another position.
On June 27th, the People's Committee of Bac Lieu province (formerly) concluded that the Department of Education and Training's transfer of Mr. T. out of Bac Lieu Specialized High School was against regulations.
Specifically, at that time, Mr. T. was rated excellent by the professional team of Bac Lieu Specialized High School, but the principal downgraded him to average.
The principal of Bac Lieu Specialized High School (at the time of the complaint) showed signs of retaliating against teachers and abusing his position and authority to commit acts contrary to regulations, which is a violation of the code of ethics for teachers.
In addition to the above allegations, the Provincial People's Committee also determined that in 2016, the Department of Education and Training transferred two teachers to Bac Lieu Specialized High School without a competitive examination, and that one teacher who taught from 2003-2011 did not have a secondary, college, or university degree in pedagogy (only obtaining a university degree in physical education and sports in 2011; and a university degree in national security and defense in 2016) was indeed guilty of these allegations.
The Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Lieu province (formerly) assigned the Department of Internal Affairs and the Department of Education and Training to take the lead in reviewing and clarifying the responsibilities, nature, and extent of the violations and imposing disciplinary measures on the collectives and individuals involved.
According to the latest directive from the Ca Mau Provincial People's Committee, dated September 3rd, the Provincial People's Committee forwarded Mr. T.'s petition to the Department of Internal Affairs and the Department of Education and Training for consideration and handling in accordance with regulations. However, the Provincial People's Committee has not yet received a report on the handling results.
On September 26th, Mr. T. continued to submit a petition to the People's Committee of Ca Mau province.
"The Provincial People's Committee requests the Department of Internal Affairs and the Department of Education and Training to continue to investigate and handle the matter according to regulations, respond to Mr. T., and report the results to the Provincial People's Committee before October 31," the document stated.
