Mr. Le Van Dung has been appointed Chairman of Quang Nam province.

On the morning of June 21st, at the 13th session of the Quang Nam Provincial People's Council, 10th term, 2021-2026, delegates voted to elect the Chairman of the Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.

At the meeting, 100% of the delegates present elected Mr. Le Van Dung - Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee - to the position of Chairman of the Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.

Mr. Le Van Dung gave a speech after assuming his new position.

Mr. Le Van Dung (born in 1966, from Que Binh commune, Hiep Duc district, Quang Nam province).

From 2004 to 2010, Mr. Le Van Dung served as Secretary of the District Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Hiep Duc District; from 2010 to 2014, he served as Chief of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee Office and was a delegate to the Quang Nam Provincial People's Council, 8th term; from 2015 to 2019, he served as Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Department; and from 2019 to the present, he has held the position of Standing Deputy Secretary of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee.

At the meeting, 100% of the delegates present re-elected Mr. Tran Nam Hung to the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.

At the meeting on April 8th, Mr. Tran Nam Hung was elected to the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; however, due to procedural irregularities, a re-election had to be held.

Also at the meeting, 100% of the delegates present elected Mr. Phan Thai Binh - Chairman of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee - to the position of Vice Chairman of the Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.

Mr. Phan Thai Binh (born in 1974, from Que Xuan 2 commune, Que Son district, Quang Nam province) holds a Master's degree in Law. Mr. Phan Thai Binh is currently a member of the 15th National Assembly .
