On the morning of November 18, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Phan Van Mai handed over the decision to receive and appoint Mr. Truong Tuan Anh - senior expert of the Office of the President , former assistant to the President - as General Director of the Ho Chi Minh City State Financial Investment Company (HFIC).

In his speech assigning tasks, Mr. Phan Van Mai congratulated Mr. Truong Tuan Anh on being appointed to a new task by the Ho Chi Minh City leadership. Mr. Mai asked Mr. Anh and the HFIC leadership team to soon review and propose a new strategy for HFIC's development.

According to Mr. Mai, Resolution 98 sets out mechanisms, identifying HFIC as a very important financial institution, mobilizing resources for the development of Ho Chi Minh City. Therefore, the collective leadership of HFIC should soon submit to Ho Chi Minh City its operational orientation, promoting its role in mobilizing investment resources for the development of Ho Chi Minh City.

The Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City also decided to accept Ms. Le Ngoc Thuy Trang - General Director of HFIC - as a civil servant without taking an exam and appointed her as Deputy Chief of the Office of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City.

As Deputy Chief of the Office of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, in addition to general work, Ms. Trang will monitor and advise the Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee on the formation of a Financial Center in Ho Chi Minh City.
