Accordingly, PG Bank announced the dismissal of Mr. Oliver Schwarzhaupt from the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors at his personal request, effective from July 2, 2023. In addition, the bank also dismissed Mr. Nguyen Phi Hung from the position of General Director, also from July 2.

In addition, Mr. Nguyen Phi Hung was appointed by the Board of Directors of PG Bank as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Petrolimex Joint Stock Commercial Bank for the term 2020 - 2025. At the same time, the bank also appointed Mr. Pham Manh Thang as Acting General Director, performing the powers and duties of the General Director from July 2.

Mr. Nguyen Phi Hung graduated with a Master's degree in Business Administration from the Asian Institute of Technology - AIT.

Mr. Hung has held many important positions in the banking industry such as Deputy General Director in charge of Operations at Maritime Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MSB); Director of Operations at Petrolimex Commercial Joint Stock Bank (PG Bank); Director of Operations at Global Petroleum Commercial Joint Stock Bank (GPBank); Head of International Payments and Trade Finance, Head of Treasury Transactions at Citibank NA Hanoi .

Mr. Pham Manh Thang was born in 1962, has a PhD in Economics - Banking Academy, Applied Mathematics Engineer - Hanoi University of Science and Technology; Bachelor of Economics - National Economics University. Mr. Thang is the former Deputy General Director of Vietcombank .

From 1985 to 1991, Mr. Pham Manh Thang worked at the State Bank of Quang Ninh province. From 1991 to 2002, he held the position of Deputy Director at Vietcombank Quang Ninh branch. From 2002 to 2014, Mr. Thang held the position of Branch Director, Secretary of Vietcombank Hai Duong province Party Committee, Member of the Party Executive Committee of the State Bank of Hai Duong province.

In March 2014, he was appointed to the position of Deputy General Director of Vietcombank until his retirement from May 1, 2023.
