The Minister of Education and Training has just issued a decision to transfer and appoint Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thu Thuy, Director of the Department of Higher Education , to the position of Director of the Department of International Cooperation.

According to the decision of the Minister of Education and Training, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thu Thuy will hold the position of Director of the Department of International Cooperation for 5 years.

Before being assigned to this position, Ms. Nguyen Thu Thuy was Director of the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education and Training.

Ms. Nguyen Thu Thuy was born in 1975, graduated from Foreign Trade University in 1997, graduated with a Master's degree from the Vietnam - Netherlands Development Economics Master's Program in 1999, a Master's degree in Financial Management in the Netherlands in 2004, and a PhD in Finance in the Netherlands in 2008. Ms. Thuy was awarded the title of Associate Professor in 2012.

Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thu Thuy has many years of work and contributions in the field of higher education, many years of experience in university management and administration.

Before working at the Ministry of Education and Training, Ms. Thuy was a lecturer at Foreign Trade University for more than 20 years and held management positions at the university such as Head of the Faculty of Business Administration and Vice Principal of the school.
