BTO - On the afternoon of December 22nd, the 2nd Phan Thiet City Open 3-Cushion Carom Billiards Championship - Duy Son Cup, concluded after 71 matches.
Pham Minh Tuan (F86 Club) won the championship cup and gold medal after defeating Bui Khac Tien (Hoa Thang Real Estate Club) in the decisive set. Bui Khac Tien received the silver medal. Third place was shared by Le Van Chau (Hoa Thang Real Estate) and Le Nhan (Carom Cafe Club). Bui Khac Tien also won the individual award with 8 points in a single turn.
Nearly 80 players from clubs in the province participated in the tournament, which officially took place from December 20-22 , organized by the People's Committee of Phan Thiet City in coordination with the Binh Thuan Billiards Federation.
The 2nd Phan Thiet City Open 3-Cushion Carom Billiards Championship – Duy Son Cup is being held to celebrate the 2024 New Year and in response to the 2023 National Tourism Year "Binh Thuan - Green Convergence". This is not only a sporting event but also a platform to strengthen solidarity and learning among individuals and teams from various units and clubs in Binh Thuan province.
