The city gives trees, people beautify the streets

At the festival, the leaders of Ho Chi Minh City did not give congratulatory flower baskets but gave happy green tree pots to the people of the neighborhood to carry out clean, green, environmentally friendly projects and respond to the emulation movement of the City of Colorful Flowers.

On November 2, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Phu ward organized the National Great Unity Day with the theme "National Unity Day".

Ward 21 has an area of ​​over 19 hectares with nearly 820 households. In 2025, the political security situation and social order and safety in the ward will be maintained, people's lives will be stable, and there will be high consensus with the Party's policies and the State's laws.

The Front Committee of Ward 21 has mobilized people to unite, actively develop the economy , and help each other sustainably reduce poverty. Up to now, the ward no longer has poor households, only 1 near-poor household.

During the year, the neighborhood mobilized people to contribute 120 gifts, 500kg of rice to support immigrant households and disadvantaged households; mobilized to take care of 200 Mid-Autumn Festival gifts, 10 "Support to go to school" scholarships for students of charity classes at Dinh Phu Dinh... The movements "All people unite to build a cultural life", "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods", "Good people, good deeds" continued to spread widely.

Environmental protection activities, maintaining “15 minutes for a civilized and clean city” have received positive responses from the people. The neighborhood currently has 3 self-managed sanitation teams, 1 volunteer green team and 3 security camera points.

Speaking at the festival, Ward Party Secretary Pham Hong Minh praised the spirit of solidarity and efforts of the people of Ward 21, and at the same time requested the Party Committee, the Front Work Committee and the ward's organizations to continue focusing on key tasks.

Accordingly, the neighborhood continues to strengthen the great national unity bloc, promote the spiritual and material strength of the neighborhood, strive to complete the 2026 targets, compete to achieve achievements to welcome the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Ho Chi Minh City. Along with that, it is necessary to innovate working methods, apply information technology in propaganda, avoid formality and spread.

In particular, the neighborhood continues to pay attention to social security work, taking care of people in boarding houses with more than 480 temporary households in the neighborhood, and at the same time coordinating with functional units to support making personal documents and mobilizing the issuance of health insurance cards for students of charity classes at Dinh Phu Dinh.

In 2026, Ward 21 registered to carry out social security, order and safety projects:

Mobilizing 5 health insurance cards, 10 scholarships, 30 Tet gifts to care for disadvantaged households;

Continue to build alleys 43, 55, 63, 112, Ly Chieu Hoang and Tran Van Kieu streets to be clean, green, and environmentally friendly;

Project "Binh Phu of thousands of flowers".
