The commune mobilized local forces to carry and transport rice, instant noodles, fish sauce, and dried fish to the two villages above to support the people. The basic food supply is enough to help stabilize life for about the next 2 weeks.

Initial statistics show that 16 houses in Ateép village were completely collapsed and many other properties were severely damaged.

Overcoming many landslides and muddy areas, the commune forces visited and gave gifts to households in the isolated area. In addition, the government forces directly supported people in cleaning their houses, moving belongings, reinforcing temporary shelters for displaced households, and at the same time surveyed the damage, recorded the needs of the people to advise and propose timely support measures.

Previously, heavy rain and floods caused serious landslides in Ateép village, when rocks and soil from the mountainside fell onto residential areas, damaging many houses and properties.
The village has 71 households with 320 people, arranged on three levels, of which the old level with more than 10 households is the most damaged area. The government warned of the risk of landslides, people were able to evacuate to safety so there were no human casualties.
Besides Ateep village, Dang village is also the most heavily affected area of A Vuong commune.
