100 billion VND to build Phu Tho Racecourse Park

On the morning of November 4, the Management Board of Investment and Construction Projects of District 11 (Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction) started construction of the project " Phu Tho Racecourse Park - Entertainment area for teenagers" in Phu Tho ward, Ho Chi Minh City.

The project has a scale of more than 6.45 hectares, adjacent to three main roads: Le Dai Hanh, projected roads No. 2 and 3 in the Phu Tho Racecourse area. The total investment is nearly 100 billion VND from the City budget, implementation period from 2025 to 2026.

The park is designed with the stylized idea of a "green diamond" including many modern and environmentally friendly items such as: 3.6 hectares of trees and lawns; 0.8 hectares of lakes and landscaped water surfaces; 1.2 hectares of internal roads and playgrounds.

The park space is divided into functional areas including: Square - multi-purpose playground of more than 5,000m²; outdoor entertainment and sports area for teenagers; green area, walking path, garden, waiting room, resting place; auxiliary works such as guard house, public toilet, service, technical and parking lot.

In addition, the park also has many highlight works such as prism bridge, walking bridge around the lake, fountain, water music stage, along with lighting system, automatic irrigation, camera and public wifi invested synchronously.

Speaking at the ceremony, a representative of the Project Management Board said that allocating nearly 6.5 hectares of land right in the city center to develop parks and youth playgrounds demonstrates the vision, concern and efforts of Ho Chi Minh City leaders in improving the quality of life of the people. The project is also a typical city-level project, started during the peak emulation period in 2025, welcoming the 12th Ho Chi Minh City Party Congress and the 14th National Congress of the Party.

The project is expected to become a highlight of the urban landscape, contributing to increasing green areas, improving microclimate and building Ho Chi Minh City into a modern, civilized and humane city.

The District 11 Project Management Board is committed to completing the project on schedule, ensuring quality and absolute safety, and closely coordinating with relevant units so that the project can be completed soon and put into use to serve the people.
