Handing over land plot No. 1, Ly Thai To Street to build a park

The Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee directed the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Ho Chi Minh City to hand over the land plot No. 1, Ly Thai To Street, Vuon Lai Ward to the Sun Group Joint Stock Company to build a green park.

The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Office has issued a document conveying the directives of the Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee regarding the plan for renovating land plot No. 1, Ly Thai To Street, Vuon Lai Ward.

Accordingly, the Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has instructed the Department of Agriculture and Environment to urgently hand over the land plot at No. 1 Ly Thai To Street, Vuon Lai Ward, to the sponsoring unit, Sun Group Joint Stock Company, so that the company can build a green park, playground space for the community, and a memorial for Covid-19 victims, to be completed and put into use before the Lunar New Year of 2026. The handover deadline is no later than November 31st.

The Department of Planning and Architecture is tasked with organizing the inventory, assessment, and classification of villas in the area, to be completed before November 10th; and simultaneously guiding the People's Committee of Vuon Lai Ward to organize the preparation of a local adjustment to the 1/2000 scale zoning plan for the area.

The People's Committee of Vuon Lai Ward is tasked with organizing the preparation, appraisal, and approval of the local adjustment of the 1/2000 scale zoning plan at the land plot location, to be completed before November 30th.

The Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has instructed the Department of Culture and Sports to organize a public consultation online regarding the proposed design and construction plan for the park, as suggested by the sponsor (Sun Group Joint Stock Company).

The Director of the Department of Construction is directly responsible for overseeing the construction of the park until its completion and commissioning; and is also urgently preparing an investment project to expand Tran Binh Trong Street using the city's budget.
