Quang Tri won 3 awards at the 2025 National Open Music Festival

The 2025 National Music Festival with the theme "Music Convergence and Spread" is organized by the Vietnam Musicians Association, Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee and other units from October 29 to November 2 at the Southern Military Theater. This is one of the practical activities to celebrate the success of Party congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party; celebrate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and China (1950-2025), and launch the "Vietnam-China Humanitarian Exchange Year" to strengthen cooperation in the field of music between the two countries.

The festival has over 600 musicians and artists from 38 Vietnamese musician associations in provinces and cities across the country. With 2 areas: music festival, Vietnamese voice festival and instrumental solo (performance festival) focusing on topics such as: Praising the Party, Uncle Ho, the cause of building and defending the Fatherland, love for the homeland, country, traditional Vietnamese culture and in the era of national development; culture and international friendship... the festival has gathered more than 200 performances in 7 competition programs.

At this festival, the Vietnam Musicians Association of Quang Tri province participated in 4 works by musicians and 2 performances by singers. As a result, the group won 3 important awards, including: 2 B prizes for the works "Xuan Cha Lo" by Thanh Nhan, "Tinh yeu ben canh song" by Duy Anh (musical content) and the work "Thuy Than" (composed by Bui Hoang Nam Duc Anh) performed by Ho Van Khanh, winning a silver medal in the Vietnamese voice content.

According to musician Le Duc Tri, participating in the festival is not only an opportunity for the public to enjoy outstanding works, but also a professional forum, creating opportunities for artists to exchange experiences, update contemporary trends, contribute to improving the quality of works, promote the common, sustainable development of the country's art.
