National Highway 9C seriously eroded due to heavy rain

QTO - According to information from the Civil Defense Command of Kim Ngan commune, from last night to this morning (November 3), there was heavy to very heavy rain in the commune, causing landslides and flooding of traffic routes.

Accordingly, the road through Con Cung village is flooded about 80cm; the underpass through An Bai village is flooded about 1m; the underpasses of Tan Ly, Xa Khia, and Bach Dan villages are flooded about 40cm; underpasses 23 and 25 of National Highway 9C in Kim Ngan commune are flooded about 40-50cm. Currently, people and vehicles are temporarily unable to pass through.

In particular, National Highway 9C section Km29+100 is suffering from serious landslides with more than 1,000m3 of rock and soil causing traffic congestion on the route.

Currently, local authorities are continuing to monitor the weather situation and urgently deploying response measures to ensure the safety of people's lives and property.
