Four more suspects have been arrested in connection with the theft of an estimated 88 million euros worth of jewelry at the Louvre Museum last month, The Guardian reported on November 25.
"The four suspects include two men aged 38 and 39, and two women aged 31 and 40, all from the Paris region," said prosecutor Laure Beccuau. According to French media, among the suspects arrested is the last member of the four-person gang that broke into the museum.

Citing police sources, Le Parisien added that the suspected thief was arrested by security forces on the morning of November 25 and is being held at police headquarters. He faces charges of organized theft and conspiracy to commit a crime.
The suspect has a criminal record and is linked to three gang members who were previously arrested and are under formal investigation. All have links to the Paris suburb of Aubervilliers, Le Parisien said.
The theft at the Louvre Museum lasted about seven minutes on October 19. During that time, the thieves allegedly parked a stolen van outside the museum and used a ladder to access the first-floor windows of the Apollo Gallery in the museum.

The two thieves smashed a window and two glass cases in the showroom, took eight valuable items and escaped. To this day, these items have not been found.
French investigators had earlier arrested two suspects in the museum break-in, Ayed G and Abdoulaye N. A third suspect, Slimane K, who was driving the car during the theft, has also been arrested.
