Leaders of the Radio Frequency Department - Ministry of Science and Technology ; Radio Frequency Center Region VI and representatives of the Department of Science and Technology of Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Tri provinces attended the conference.
In 2025, the Regional Radio Frequency Center VI coordinated with security and state management agencies to develop a frequency control plan; conduct 30 regular inspections; mobilize 12 officers, 3 mobile control vehicles, and conduct 3 inspections, contributing to ensuring smooth communication and safe organization of major events in the provinces; thereby detecting and handling 17 cases of violations in the use of radio frequencies.
Four provinces have received and issued 53 radio frequency operation licenses, achieving a 100% on-time rate; of which Thanh Hoa and Nghe An provinces are the two localities that issued the largest number of licenses after decentralization.
Radio information infrastructure is expanded to remote, isolated and border areas; monitoring and violation handling work is maintained regularly, contributing to ensuring information security and national frequency sovereignty.
The conference forum reflected on the ineffective exploitation of inter-sectoral data; the slow speed of frequency management software; the inconsistent licensing data between units, with potential risks of frequency duplication; and discussed solutions and proposed solutions.
In 2026, the Regional Radio Frequency Center VI will continue to coordinate with the Department of Science and Technology of the provinces to promote propaganda and guide people and businesses to carry out licensing procedures on the National Public Service Portal, ensuring a "Correct-Enough-Clean-Living-Unified-Shared" database; strengthen inspection and handling of violations, especially for Repeaters, signal boosters and wifi transmitters that violate regulations; coordinate to effectively resolve radio information network interference cases, focusing on mobile networks, flight operations, seaports and security-defense.
