Launching the "Green Pearl Island" movement in Phu Quoc

On the morning of September 12, the Youth Department of An Giang Provincial Police coordinated with the Police and Youth Union of Phu Quoc Special Zone to organize a launching ceremony for the "Green Pearl Island" movement. Colonel Le Phu Thanh, Deputy Director of An Giang Provincial Police attended the ceremony.

Cadres, soldiers, union members and youth joined in cleaning up.

This activity attracted hundreds of local cadres, soldiers, union members and youths to participate, demonstrating the spirit of vanguard and volunteerism of young people in propagating the law, protecting the environment and building an increasingly beautiful pearl island.

After the launching ceremony, cadres, soldiers, union members and youths started cleaning up Dinh Cau beach.

Giving gifts to policy families

On this occasion, Phu Quoc Special Zone Police presented 10 gifts to policy families; 10 scholarships to students in difficult circumstances; and gifts and national flags to 5 outstanding fishing families.

An Giang Provincial Police Youth Union mobilized businesses to support 500 trash bins for Phu Quoc special economic zone.
