On the morning of November 15, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Nam province held a workshop on “Tasks and solutions to promote the strength of great national unity, strengthen social consensus, and contribute to building Quang Nam province to develop rapidly and sustainably”. Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Duc Dung, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Nam province Le Tri Thanh co-chaired the workshop.
The workshop aims to assess the situation and results of leadership and direction of Party committees and organizations at all levels; the responsibility of the government; the core role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations in promoting people's mastery; strengthening the strength of great national unity; participating in building a strong Party and political system. At the same time, it is also an important political theoretical basis to serve the editing of the Political Report to be submitted to the 23rd Congress of Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030.
With a democratic and objective spirit, the Workshop received 23 presentations from scientists , researchers, representatives of central agencies, leaders, former leaders of the province and 18 presentations from localities clarifying theoretical and practical issues, strategic solutions on promoting the strength of great national unity, socialist democracy, ensuring the people's right to mastery, strengthening social consensus to contribute to building Quang Nam province to develop rapidly and sustainably, becoming a fairly developed province of the country by 2030.
In addition to the presentations, the delegates also discussed and clarified the current advantages, difficulties and challenges and put forward proposals, tasks and key, breakthrough solutions such as promoting the Party's leading role in building the great national unity bloc, strengthening social consensus through the advisory work of mass mobilization and propaganda agencies, promoting the tradition of solidarity and the identity of Quang Nam people in construction and development, etc.
Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Le Tri Thanh acknowledged the presentations and opinions compiled at the workshop and considered this an important source of information for the Document Subcommittee to draft the Political Report to be submitted to the 23rd Congress of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030.
Concluding the workshop, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Quang Nam province Nguyen Duc Dung emphasized: Great national unity is a precious tradition, an important and consistent strategic line of the Party; a source of great strength, a decisive factor in the victory of the cause of building and defending the Fatherland. Comrade Nguyen Duc Dung requested the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and its member organizations to continue to promote their pioneering role in building the great national unity bloc.
With many perspectives and practical proposals, the workshop gathered a strategic theoretical basis of special importance for the provincial leaders to orient their leadership and management on the basis of taking the people as the root, thereby contributing to building Quang Nam to develop rapidly and sustainably, becoming a fairly developed province of the country by 2030.
“The Resolution of the 22nd Provincial Party Congress and Resolution No. 29 dated April 11, 2023 of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee on “Strengthening the strength of great national unity; promoting socialist democracy; ensuring the people's mastery in the province”, clearly stated: “Promoting the strength of great national unity is a consistent and strategic line of the Party, a driving force and a great resource in local construction and development”. In recent years, Party committees, Party organizations, authorities, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels have thoroughly grasped and actively implemented the Party's viewpoints and guidelines on great national unity, socialist democracy, and ensuring the people's mastery. The great national unity bloc in the province has been constantly expanded and firmly consolidated”.
