Promoting youth in the period of innovation

Keeping in mind Uncle Ho's teaching "Wherever there is a need, there are youth, wherever there is difficulty, there are youth", over the past 69 years, the Vietnam Youth Union has continuously grown and become a "common home" uniting, gathering, and encouraging generations of Vietnamese youth to contribute their youth, intelligence, and enthusiasm to the Fatherland. Together with the youth of the whole country, Quang Ninh youth have been continuing the glorious tradition with concrete actions; pioneering in creative labor, entrepreneurship, and volunteering for the community.

The Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee and the Provincial Pioneer Council coordinated with units to present meaningful gifts to children in Quang La commune.

On October 15, 1956, in Hanoi , the Vietnam Youth Federation and the National Youth Front Mobilization Committee held a congress and decided to establish the Vietnam Youth Federation. Over the past 69 years, under the leadership of the Party, the Vietnam Youth Federation has united generations of youth in the country to contribute to glorious achievements in the cause of building and defending the socialist Vietnam Fatherland. The noble and fine traditions of the Vietnam Youth Federation throughout history are an epic built by the tireless dedication of generations of cadres, members, and youth who wholeheartedly follow the Party; absolutely loyal to the ideals and interests of the nation.

Along with the youth of the whole country, the work of the Association and the youth movement of Quang Ninh in recent years have developed continuously in both quantity and quality of activities. Quang Ninh youth always take the lead in revolutionary movements, contributing to building a generation of youth in the new era, living with ideals, ethics, knowledge, health, dynamism and sharp thinking. Each youth union member always upholds patriotism, awareness of building and protecting the Fatherland; is ready to volunteer for the community; lives responsibly, has the will and aspiration to rise up, wishes to contribute and grow.

The Youth Union and Association at all levels have made great contributions to successfully carrying out the movements and tasks entrusted by the Party and the people. In particular, the movement "I love my Fatherland" has become a flag to arouse the love of the homeland in every young union member of Quang Ninh in the new era. A series of programs with strong humanistic imprints have been deployed such as "Sentiment to the Fatherland's Border", "March Border", "Journey for the Homeland's Sea and Islands", "Solidarity of the Three Youth Forces"... have helped the youth of Quang Ninh to train and mature in the journey of asserting themselves, contributing to their family, homeland and country.

In addition, there are also programs such as "Accompanying young people to establish their careers", "Building a strong Quang Ninh Provincial Youth Union", and volunteer activities for community life and social security... Since then, there has been a positive impact on the awareness and striving spirit of many young people, creating a favorable environment for young people to practice and strive; at the same time bringing specific benefits to the community and society.

Volunteer activities for community life are implemented by the Youth Union and Association at all levels, designing innovative contents in a specific, clear direction, close to the practical needs of localities and units. Typical examples are projects and youth work to build advanced new rural areas, model new rural areas; "Light up the countryside roads", "Green Sunday"; "Let's clean the sea", collect foam buoys, waste on the sea and Ha Long Bay to serve the tourist season; "Tet tree planting to forever remember Uncle Ho"... In addition, the Youth Union and Association at all levels also actively coordinate to organize activities to support disadvantaged children and youth; policy families, lonely elderly; support going to school, support the sick, take care of community health...

As a broad social organization of youth, in recent times, the Quang Ninh Youth Union has made many innovations and creations in its organization and activities, getting closer to the needs and legitimate interests of youth. In particular, since the beginning of 2025, the activities of accompanying and caring for youth, consulting, career guidance, vocational training and job introduction for youth have been paid attention to and actively implemented by the Union. The Union's chapters in the province have coordinated to organize the 2025 Job Fair, the Exam Season Consulting Program, career orientation for Quang Ninh province in 2025; exchange activities to share start-up experiences, start-up solutions from promoting local strengths for youth; searching for feasible creative start-up ideas to advise and support, mobilizing resources to support start-up ideas of youth.

According to data from the first 6 months of 2025, the Youth Union and Association at all levels coordinated to organize 30 activities to support young people in starting a business for 1,800 young union members; and provided job advice and referrals to over 25,000 young union members. The Association at all levels continued to coordinate with the local Social Policy Bank to guide and support procedures for young union members to borrow capital to develop the economy, invest in livestock models, expand production and business establishments, and deploy capital sources for members, students, and students to borrow for studying and starting a business.

The positive results of the Youth Union at all levels in Quang Ninh in the past time have been and continue to arouse the spirit of initiative, volunteerism, and determination to successfully carry out the tasks of the union and youth movements. Especially in the period of strong development of the country today, many new tasks are posed to the youth, requiring the activities of the union to have strong changes. In response to that requirement, the union organization continues to constantly innovate thinking and action, innovate the way of organizing, connecting and accompanying the youth towards the goal of designing the movement, the union's activities are increasingly practical, effective, meeting the needs and aspirations of the youth.
