To build sustainable and livable rural areas in Ca Mau in the coming time, former Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Le Minh Hoan suggested that it is necessary to promote the value of local resources, considering this as the foundation for developing the rural economy in a sustainable direction.
The former Vice Chairman of the National Assembly also emphasized the collaborative role of the State, businesses, and the community in building new rural areas; fostering cohesive rural communities, preserving traditional culture, and protecting the ecological environment.

Farmers are the key players in the process of building sustainable rural areas, so they need to proactively learn, change their production mindset, improve their knowledge and skills, and strengthen linkages to adapt to the development requirements of the new era. In addition, it is necessary to develop agriculture in conjunction with tourism, shifting from single-value growth to multi-value growth to increase income and improve the lives of rural people.
