According to the 108 Central Military Hospital, the patient is VTTT (born in 2009, H'Mong ethnic group, residing in Pung Luong commune, Yen Bai province) who has lacked parental love since childhood and grew up with his grandparents. Suffering from a mandibular osteoblastoma, his face was deformed, hindering his daily activities and severely affecting his mental health and quality of life. However, due to his family's difficult circumstances, VTTT could not afford treatment.

On July 10, thanks to the help of benefactors, VTTT was brought to the 108 Military Central Hospital. When receiving the patient, the doctors not only saw a complicated case but also sympathized with the disadvantaged fate of the highland girl. With the consent of the Hospital's Board of Directors, the Center for Craniofacial Surgery and Plastic Surgery decided to perform the surgery completely free of charge for the girl.

After 9 hours of surgery, doctors removed the tumor from the patient's face. Currently, VTTT's health is gradually stabilizing, and her face has somewhat regained its original beauty.
In addition to free surgery and full support for treatment costs, 108 Military Central Hospital also arranges accommodation for the patient's uncle and aunt during surgery and treatment.
According to the doctors, the girl only needs one surgery to be stable, will later have dental implants and is expected to be discharged next week.
