Under the guidance of lecturers from the Faculty of Biotechnology, Chemistry and Environmental Engineering, the project not only meets practical needs but also aims towards a circular economy .

The 'Three Houses' Startup Ecosystem Model

Phenikaa University does not only support students to start a business but also expands the startup ecosystem from high school to university. The Three-House Ecosystem Model: Business Producer, Scientist andEducator , closely connects training, research and product commercialization. A typical example of this success is the Crystella project - a scientific experiment kit developed by a group of students of the school, which has been successfully commercialized and put into practical application.

Not only stopping at the university level, Phenikaa University also pays special attention to cultivating the entrepreneurial spirit from the high school level. Phenikaa Inter-level High School is an important part of this ecosystem, constantly innovating educational methods through experiential activities such as Skills Day, STEM Fair, and career seminars, helping students develop creative thinking, problem-solving ability, and teamwork spirit - important skills in entrepreneurship.

In particular, the Phenikaa Innovation Hub (PIH) Program is also held annually to provide financial support and expert advice for innovative ideas with high application potential. High school students nationwide are encouraged to propose projects in many fields such as environment, education, transportation, technology, and receive support from lecturers and businesses in the Phenikaa Group.

Sustainable Startup Strategy

Phenikaa University always focuses on building a sustainable startup ecosystem, connecting students, schools, businesses and investors. In just the past 3 years, the school has organized hundreds of training activities, competitions and seminars on startups, attracting more than 5,000 students to participate and nearly 100 students were awarded. Many student projects have successfully raised capital and started commercializing products, affirming that the school's training and startup support strategy is substantial and effective.

Not stopping there, Phenikaa also creates an environment to support high school students to participate in practical projects. Projects such as the Effective Career Triangle Project and Phenikaa Innovation Hub have helped students from provinces such as Yen Bai, Hanoi, Nghe An, Nam Dinh receive funding, research space and mentoring from the teaching staff, creating opportunities for potential start-up products to develop right from their early years of study.

Starting a business is a long-term journey that requires a supportive environment.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Phu Khanh – Vice President of Phenikaa University shared: “Starting a business has never been easy. Therefore, we always strive to create an environment where students are inspired, students are allowed to try – fail – learn – do it again, with real support from the school and businesses.” With a sustainable investment strategy, the Phenikaa education ecosystem not only inspires innovation but also contributes to building a young workforce with technological thinking, creativity and the ability to solve practical problems – core factors for the development of the country.

With long-term efforts and strategies, Phenikaa University's startup ecosystem is gradually creating a young generation who are confident in starting a business right from school, have the ability to adapt to digital transformation, and have the desire to contribute to the community.
