(sonla.gov.vn) On July 31, 2025, Comrade Nguyen Dinh Viet, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation chaired the 49th Session of the Provincial People's Committee, term XV, 2021 - 2026, assessing the results of socio-economic development, national defense - security in July, deploying key tasks in August 2025. Attending the meeting were Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of departments, branches and sectors of the province. The meeting was held online to the bridge points of communes and wards.

In July, the first month of implementing the 2-level local government model, the Provincial People's Committee, departments and branches proactively inspected, directed, guided, and promptly removed obstacles, ensuring stability in the organizational apparatus and smooth operation of the commune and ward governments after the reorganization. At the same time, focusing on implementing socio -economic development tasks and the State budget estimate for the last 6 months of 2025; removing difficulties and obstacles in production and business, implementing programs and projects and disbursing public investment capital.

During the month, total retail sales of goods were estimated at VND3,476 billion, up 17.1% over the same period last year. The value of exported goods was estimated at USD9.1 million. Budget revenue in the area was estimated at VND438 billion. Attention was paid to the fields of culture, health, education , and social security; national defense and security were maintained; foreign affairs activities were maintained and strengthened...

At the meeting, delegates focused on discussing and giving opinions on a number of contents on: Site clearance, progress of disbursement of public investment capital; work to overcome the consequences of natural disasters; solutions to remove difficulties and obstacles in operating Party committees and authorities according to the 2-level local model...

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee spoke at the meeting.

Speaking at the meeting, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested departments, branches, sectors, People's Committees of communes and wards to focus on overcoming natural disasters caused by the recent storm No. 3, and soon stabilize people's lives. Continue to resolutely implement solutions, lead, direct, and organize the implementation of public investment projects and disburse national target programs, striving to complete the disbursement of public investment capital in 2025. Departments, branches, sectors, according to their assigned functions, tasks, and powers, review the reports on acceptance, explanation, and supplementation of the Provincial People's Committee at the Eleventh Session of the 15th Provincial People's Council and proactively implement and advise the Provincial People's Committee to direct the implementation of the contents accepted and supplemented at the session.
