Red Rain is a historical film directed by Meritorious Artist Dang Thai Huyen, based on a script by writer Chu Lai, recreating the 81-day and night battle to protect Quang Tri Citadel in 1972. The film realistically depicts the brave sacrifice of young soldiers in the flames of war, while spreading a humane message of peace and patriotism. After its release, Red Rain caused a big stir, surpassing the 700 billion VND mark in revenue, becoming the most successful Vietnamese film in history.
Deputy Minister Ho An Phong emphasized that free film screenings at the fair not only serve the audience's enjoyment needs but also serve as a way to connect culture and commerce, contributing to promoting Vietnam's cultural industries, a field that is being identified as one of the new pillars of economic development. "Audiences coming to the fair can watch Red Rain for free, interact with artists and actors, and experience many unique artistic activities," he said.

According to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, cultural and artistic activities will take place throughout the two sub-areas “Quintessence of Vietnamese Culture” and “Meeting Point for Trade”, introducing creative products in the fields of cinema, music , fashion, handicrafts, publishing, games and cuisine. Tourism and cultural businesses have prepared 52 booths to honor the creative essence and development potential of cultural industries in the digital age.
According to Deputy Minister Ho An Phong, the participation of cultural industries at the 2025 Autumn Fair will contribute to promoting creative economic growth, connecting culture - trade - tourism, and promoting the image of a creative, friendly, and integrated Vietnam to international friends.
Along with the Red Rain screening and art performances, the fair also offers many promotions up to 100%, millions of discount vouchers and the "Golden Deal" event connecting businesses with consumers.
The 2025 Autumn Fair is a national trade event, chaired by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, in coordination with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Ministry of Finance and the Hanoi People's Committee, taking place from October 25 to November 4 at the Vietnam Exhibition Center (Dong Anh, Hanoi).
