Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Pham Duc Tien gives early lucky money to children at SOS Children's Village Hue

SOS Children's Village Hue is a place to care for and raise orphans, abandoned children and children in especially difficult circumstances according to the model of SOS International. It is a model of family houses, each house has 6-8 children and a "mother" to take care of them. The mother in the village is a special mother, wholeheartedly caring for and raising the children at SOS Children's Village Hue. The mothers stay with their children, taking care of them as if they were their own children.

The village is currently raising 59 children from 3 to 21 years old, studying from kindergarten to university and vocational school. Since its establishment, the village has had nearly 150 children return home and have stable jobs, some of whom have started families.

On behalf of the leaders of Hue city, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Pham Duc Tien presented gifts and early lucky money to the children in the village. The Standing Deputy Secretary thanked the staff, mothers and aunts in the village for taking the best care of the children, helping them live in a loving environment; helping them gain enough knowledge and skills so that when they grow up, they will be confident and capable enough to enter life.

Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Pham Duc Tien also hopes that the staff, mothers and aunts at the SOS Children's Village Hue will continue to make more efforts to support and nurture those who are still facing misfortunes in life. Organize more life skillseducation programs to help children gain more skills and easily integrate into the community. In the coming time, the city will continue to pay more attention to help the Village operate effectively.
