DTO - On the morning of July 15, comrade Phan Van Thang - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Thap province, together with relevant departments, came to survey the progress of the D7 Project and the Residential Area on both sides of the road invested by Tien Giang Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company (TICCO), located in Trung An ward, Dong Thap province.

This is one of the key projects that the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee are interested in directing, aiming to serve the goal of urban development, expanding residential space, especially meeting the urgent need for social housing for officials, civil servants, workers and low-income people. The D7 Road and Residential Area Project on both sides of the road has a total investment of 525 billion VND, with a total area of over 61,553m2, arranging commercial land area of 22,740m2, resettlement land area of 4,297m2, social housing land area of 7,283m2, expected to arrange 180 social houses, the expected population size is 772 people.

Through the actual survey, comrade Phan Van Thang highly appreciated the efforts of the enterprise in implementing the project in accordance with the planning orientation with a spacious scale, integrating many functions, and a convenient location not far from the city center. With the policy of the Party Committee and the government accompanying the enterprise, Dong Thap will create the most favorable conditions for the enterprise, especially removing administrative procedures and supporting site clearance so that the project can be completed and put into use soon.

Regarding the remaining problem of a household that has not agreed due to the excessively high compensation requirement, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested the Trung An Ward authorities to continue to persevere in mobilizing and propagating, ensuring the harmony of interests and legitimate rights of the people, contributing to stabilizing the situation and maintaining the overall progress of the project. The focus on implementing social housing and public housing projects clearly demonstrates the political commitment and high sense of responsibility of Dong Thap province in caring for social security, while creating a modern, sustainable living environment and improving the quality of people's lives.
