The training course aims to cultivate and update knowledge, enhance the advisory capacity and organizational skills of officers from the Provincial and City Military Commands; Regional Defense Commands; and Border Guard Commands. The training content focuses on key issues relevant to practical situations, such as: procedures for handling incidents in the management and protection of national borders and border defense foreign relations; border gate management and immigration control; Party and political work in border management and protection; guidance on developing combat readiness documents and defensive combat readiness decisions; organization and operation of militia and self-defense forces and national defense and security education; and procedures for selecting and recruiting citizens for military service...

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Major General Le Ngoc Hai, Commander of Military Region 5, emphasized: This training course is of great importance in improving the quality of the officer corps, meeting the requirements and tasks in the new situation. The Organizing Committee of the course needs to strictly maintain order and discipline, ensuring the content and program are as planned. The lecturers must deliver the approved content accurately and completely, closely combining theory and practice. Officers participating in the training must demonstrate a sense of responsibility, actively study, discuss, and master the knowledge to effectively apply it to their work.
The training course took place from July 17th to 19th. This is one of the practical activities aimed at effectively implementing the resolutions and directives of the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense , and the Party Committee and Command of Military Region 5 on building strong local armed forces, contributing to maintaining the all-people national defense posture in conjunction with the people's security posture in the strategic Central and Central Highlands regions.
