In 2025, the Nghe An Provincial Military Party Committee advised local Party committees and authorities on the effective implementation of military, national defense, and border defense work; led and directed the provincial armed forces to successfully and excellently complete the set goals, targets, and tasks; and showed significant improvements in the quality of training, combat readiness, regularization, and discipline.

Major General Doan Xuan Buong, Political Commissar of Military Region 4, delivered a speech at the conference.

In 2026, the Nghe An Provincial Military Party Committee will continue to lead the thorough implementation of the Resolutions of the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term; focus on advising and leading the building of a strong national defense system and a solid provincial defense posture; improve the overall quality, level, and readiness to handle situations, preventing passivity and surprise.

The leadership staff successfully completed the provincial defense and civil defense exercises; built a clean and strong Provincial Military Party Committee, and a "lean, efficient, and powerful" provincial armed forces to meet the requirements and tasks in the new situation. By 2026, a breakthrough will be achieved in "improving the quality of military and national defense work at the Regional Defense Command and the Commune-level Military Command".

Speaking at the conference, Major General Doan Xuan Buong acknowledged and highly appreciated the results that the Nghe An Provincial Military Party Committee had led, directed, implemented, and organized in 2025.

To lead the implementation of tasks in 2026, the Political Commissar of Military Region 4 requested the Party Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Military Command to focus on several key areas, including: innovating and improving the quality and effectiveness of advising local Party committees and authorities on policies and solutions to create breakthroughs in military and national defense tasks right from the first year of the term; strengthening training and improving the quality of operations of military agencies at all levels, especially the commune-level military command, in terms of qualifications, capabilities, and experience to meet the requirements and tasks set forth; improving the overall quality and combat readiness of the provincial armed forces, proactively grasping the local area, especially key areas, border areas, and islands, and promptly advising on effective handling of situations to avoid being caught off guard.
