At the conference, delegates focused on clarifying the role of ideological and disciplinary management in building comprehensively strong "exemplary and outstanding" units; assessing the current state of soldiers' ideology, adherence to state laws, military discipline, and unit regulations.

The conference unanimously agreed that, in the past period, Party committees and commanders at all levels have paid close attention to leading and directing the work of ideological and disciplinary management; strictly maintaining regular order, discipline management, and the system of management, evaluation, classification, reporting, notification, and drawing lessons from ideological work at each level within the Brigade.

The political and ideological situation of the soldiers in the Brigade remains stable; officers and soldiers possess strong political resolve, uphold their responsibilities, proactively overcome difficulties, and are ready to accept and successfully complete all assigned tasks. Officers, staff, and soldiers strictly abide by the law and discipline; the unit has not experienced any violations of the law or discipline; and there have been no complaints or denunciations.

Concluding the conference, Colonel Hoang Van Chinh, Secretary of the Party Committee and Political Commissar of Brigade 971, requested that Party committees and commanders at all levels continue to thoroughly understand the resolutions and directives on building a regular army and managing discipline; and strengthen education to raise awareness of compliance with laws and regulations.

Maintain strict discipline and order, especially during breaks and days off. Promote the role of organizations and forces in understanding, managing, guiding, and resolving the ideological issues of military personnel; resolutely prevent any violations of law and discipline.
