Bon Bon farm Moc Chau is a typical agricultural tourism model in Son La province, with an area of 3 hectares, owned by Bon Bon Agricultural Tourism Cooperative.
With the cooperative model, instead of developing tourist gardens, serving visitors and experiences, Bon Bon farm Moc Chau has imported famous and strange foreign plant varieties such as raspberries, American figs, peony grapes, Colombian passion fruit... to cultivate, crossbreed, and successfully cultivate in Moc Chau. With technical support, systematic training, resolutely maintaining the principles of organic farming, and expanding cooperation with domestic and foreign travel companies, this model has left its mark on the agricultural tourism map in the mountainous region of the North of our country.

Appreciating the efforts of the leadership of Bon Bon Agricultural Tourism Cooperative, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Le Minh Hoan affirmed that this model, along with agricultural products such as Moc Chau plum, Song Ma longan, Yen Chau mango, Thuan Chau passion fruit, Son La coffee, etc., are continuing the proud story of change of the land that persistently turns difficulties into motivation. This is a testament to the confidence of Son La agriculture to "step out" of the rut, when not only producing raw agricultural products, but also integrating processing methods, linking brands, culture and tourism.

To improve the efficiency of exploiting the agricultural tourism model, the Vice Chairman of the National Assembly suggested that, in addition to continuing to exploit strange plant varieties from abroad, the Cooperative should pay attention to exploiting the story of each plant and fruit variety put into exploitation; pay attention to creating jobs for households renting land as well as people in the Moc Chau area.
The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly noted that with the agricultural tourism model, attracting tourists is only the initial success. It is important to process and commercialize the agricultural products being cultivated, only then can revenue be quickly increased and there is a basis for expanding the scale of the farm.

Regarding local authorities, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Le Minh Hoan emphasized that agricultural production still faces many challenges from natural disasters, epidemics and markets, requiring strengthening the connection between farmers and businesses. This is not the responsibility of agriculture and businesses, local authorities have an important role in creating a close connection between these two entities.

Authorities at all levels need to proactively survey the actual situation, persistently mobilize and guide farmers to have faith and awareness to comply with the contract signed with the enterprise. Each commune and ward cadre must not only be a "manager" but also become a "development organizer", "administrator", and work with the people to overcome difficulties to help Moc Chau in particular, and Son La province in general, confidently rise up with their hands and minds.
